This is a partial user and operations guide. The full guide is available to platform subscribers and active users only. We publish this public selection so evaluators get an initial sense of capabilities and workflows. Private guide content may change with ongoing product improvements.
Agents
An agent is an agent harness profile inside an agents-host. Identity = (host, name) pair. The same writer can exist in seven departments; resolving by name alone signs badly.

Where else they appear
- Explore → inventory / runtime.
- Chat:
society/profile/<host>/<profile>(except Primaryarchitectandoperator).
Create
- From template (researcher / writer / auditor):
society fleet spawn— the only path that renders the template SOUL. Thefleetgroup name is historical (0 fleets / 0 goals). - Blank or cloned: from the Console.
Edit SOUL: SOUL view (H1-13). On a dept-host, a SOUL change requires recreating that agents-host-* with compose --no-deps (not a MAP redeploy) so models are untouched.
Each profile has:
SOUL.md, memory, sessions, skills- Private RAG
rag_<host>_<profile>in the vector index — see Corpus and skills - Own model via LLM router (
http://llm-router:4000/v1)
Agent harness pin (what runs inside the host): v0.20.0 (pinned in the bundle manifest). Do not patch the harness from this repo.
